Position Overview:
A crucial step in our current strategic plan is understanding our donor community better. We seek a volunteer with experience in survey design, data collection, and market research to assist in conducting a comprehensive donor survey. The ideal volunteer has the proven skills and a depth of experience needed to develop the survey, plan and supervise data collection, and compile a final report summarizing key insights. This role is vital in shaping our future fundraising strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and structuring of a comprehensive donor survey as a part of the strategic planning process.
- Oversee the data collection process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and ethical considerations.
- Analyze survey responses and produce clear, concise reports highlighting key insights.
- Work collaboratively with our staff and key board members to interpret findings and make strategic recommendations.
- Ensure the confidentiality of donor data and adherence to data protection regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in conducting surveys and/or market research.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies, survey design, and data analysis.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
Location: Virtual-Remote Work Online, or Rockford, IL
Time per Month: 6-10 hours
Length of commitment: Role is ongoing, minimum commitment 6 months
