Position Summary:
The Donation Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately entering donation information into Salesforce and QuickBooks. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity of our financial and donor records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry:
- Enter donation details into Salesforce, ensuring donor information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Input corresponding financial data into QuickBooks.
- Data Verification:
- Cross-reference Salesforce and QuickBooks entries to ensure consistency.
- Verify donation amounts against bank deposits and receipts.
- Update donor records with additional phone, email or address data gathered from donation record.
- Work closely with staff to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Donor Acknowledgment:
- Generate and send acknowledgment letters or emails to donors who donate electronically.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Salesforce and QuickBooks or similar software is helpful.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good communication skills.
Training:
- On-the-job training will be provided for Salesforce and QuickBooks if necessary.
Location: Virtual-Remote Work Online, or Rockford, IL
Time per week: 2-4 hours/week
Length of commitment: Role is ongoing, minimum commitment 6 months
