World Day of the Poor: Building Hope and Changing Lives

Building hope and changing lives expresses what Hope for Haitians lives out every day. It incorporates both charity toward, and solidarity with, the poor. In the families we serve, we see not only poverty but perseverance, not only despair but hope.

The World Day of the Poor challenges us to continue this work, not as charity from afar, but as relationship, dignity, and opportunity shared.

Join us for a special 45-minute update as Chris Weickert welcomes Fr. David Beauvais for a conversation ahead of the World Day of the Poor.

This session, will include:

  • Updates on the status of current projects
  • Discussion of Pope Leo’s recent Apostolic Exhortation on Love of the Poor
  • Insights on how the Hope for Haitians model addresses the root causes of poverty

An open chat will be available throughout the event, so you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly.

We hope you’ll join us.
