Give the gift of school to children seeking refuge and hope.

Families across Haiti have been forced to flee their homes due to escalating gang violence. Many have arrived in Hope for Haitians villages seeking safety and stability. Among them are children whose education has been disrupted by fear and displacement.

While we currently support the education of the children of many long-term village families, this new influx of families has increased the need far beyond our available resources.

Displaced children, who have lost everything, urgently need access to school. For them, school provides more than a chance for education. It offers structure, emotional stability, familiar routines, the change to improve their life, and the promise of a better future.

This Giving Tuesday, you can help ensure no child is turned away. Your gift will provide the tuition, uniforms, books, and basic supplies these displaced students need to resume their education, a path toward a hopeful future.

“According to UNICEF, hundreds of thousands of children in Haiti have been forced from their homes by violence, and as many as 1 in 5 school-aged children may now be displaced.”
