When Hope for Haitians builds a village we make sure it has a Community Center. It provides a location for many different village activities; church services, leadership training, family celebrations, medical clinics and more. In Love Friendship Village, located in Savanne Carre, Hope for Haitians build 75 homes, a community center and implemented food production projects.

Recently, Dr. Jean who works with Hope for Haitians, conducted a mobile clinic in Love Friendship Village. Mobil clinics are funded through the Faith Project. Dr. Jean provides service twice a week in both Garde Saline and Dumas in clinics sponsored by Hope for Haitians and The Faith Project. This was the second second mobile clinic he coordinated for villages without a clinic. Most of the families in this village live in houses built by Hope for Haitians and the clinic was held at the Community Center.
During a mobile clinic, Dr. Jean coordinates a volunteer team to provide health services to the residents in a village. At this clinic four nurses, four physicians and an helper were able to provide health assessments and services to 272 people.
