On the occasion of Christmas, we would like to share a greeting with you from Haiti.
Throughout the year, we work together. Donors, Board, staff, the Haiti team, and local leadership each, in their own way, give of themselves to bring a vision of hope and dignity to Haitian families living in poverty.
On Christmas Eve, we were blessed with a message from one of our Haiti team members. It included greetings from local leadership and images from a Christmas program at a religious school in Garde Saline, where we support scholarships for the neediest children and recently installed a solar-powered computer lab.
“Good evening to the entire strong HFH team in the United States who never grow tired of working to improve the living conditions of people in Haiti.
On this occasion, as we celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus, for many societies this is a time of much travel, many exchanges, and many good wishes.
After we sent cards and gifts to wish the various village leaders a Merry Christmas, I want to use the voice of all the communities and each of the leaders to say a big thank you to you. I also wish you a Merry Christmas on behalf of the entire team representing the organization in Haiti.
May joy, health, wisdom, discernment, and opportunities in all their forms fill us, our families, and our work” ~Jitma – Haiti Team Member
On behalf of the board and everyone involved in our efforts. Thank you and many blessings to you and your family this Christmas season ~ Chris
