Hope for Haitians has launched its 2026 Summer Vocational Training Program, beginning with a culinary arts class in Bassin. Participants are gaining practical skills that can lead to employment, entrepreneurship, and stronger communities, with additional classes beginning across five more villages, including a new shoe making and repair program.
Many families forced from their homes by violence have arrived in the villages we serve. Current estimates suggest that as many as one in five school-aged children in Haiti may now be displaced. Help us provide scholarships for these children so they can find safety, stability, and hope as they work to heal from the trauma they have endured.
