Steve Wolf, Tom Morgan and Pierre Charles invite you to have a few drinks and a few laughs with friends and learn about a local charity that is helping the poorest residents of Haiti. This event will benefit Hope for Haitians, which funds the building of homes as well as other aid to the people of the poverty-stricken country.
“The main point is to bring awareness,” said Steve Wolf, who serves as vice president of the Rockford-based Hope For Haitians. “We are trying to get a younger group aware of what is going on in the world.”
Local celebrity bartenders will include Stephanie Klett and her brother Jeff Klett, Stephen and Nicola Meyer, Casey Christofferson and others. All tips for the celebrity servers will go to charity. A portion of the sales proceeds from the night also will be donated to the charity.
